Lehman Caves

On Friday we packed up the car and drove the 3 hours to Great Basin National park and set up Vader for a night of camping.  Rob's cousins had invited us to go camping with them, the boys were going to hike Wheeler peek early the next morning, and then we were going to go to Lehman Caves Saturday afternoon.  It is no secret I am not a fan of camping, but I go along because my family loves it, and I am usually happy we did.  This time was no different, the caves were awesome and the kids had a blast climbing trees and hanging out with all the little cousins their age.  Rob also enjoyed his early morning hike which included a slide down a 1 mile glacier.  I loved spending time with family, and the area was beautiful, but I am now requesting we save up for a trailer.  Maybe then I can get some sleep and a shower, plus it will make me a little more willing to camp for a few days at a time.

We gave these caves a big Thumbs up (hardy har har)!!

Two words....CAVE BACON....YUMMY!!!

The tiny little cave sea horse.
Lehman caves is somewhere I recommend going, they were amazing, and I am so glad we decided to go.  I really wouldn't mind going back again and staying longer to fit some hiking in too.
