Mother's Day

Monday, May 9, 2016

On Saturday we drove to St. George so we could be there for my sweet nephew Bentley's baby blessing, it was a happy accident that Sunday was also Mother's day. It was so great to spend the day with my Mom, 2 of my sisters, my sister in law, her Mom, and my Grandma. We were just missing Hydi and we would have been complete.

My little brother gave Bentley a wonderful blessing, despite Bentley screaming through most of it, but once he was back upright he was good. Such a funny kid, he has never liked laying down and has always preferred to be upright and seeing the world around him.

Paxon, who is a few days younger than Bentley, is such a happy smiley kid. We all couldn't get enough of his cheesy grin.

I am slowly getting Em to warm up to me, she is such a funny girl.

Rob was THRILLED to be putting together a BBQ, I had to keep reminding him it was Mother's day and dinner would be worth his hard work.

This pretty lady is 92, she is amazing, and I am so glad I get to call her Grandma!!

It was such a wonderful day, we were so happy to be there, I sure do love this family of mine!!

Davidson Family Pictures

Every Thanksgiving we all get together for Grandismas and we always make sure to do family pictures. Despite it being a pain to get everyone ready and find pictures clothes, it is always worth all the trouble in the end, and I am so grateful they are willing to put up with me each year.

Crazy to think we will add four little boys to this picture next year.

Two of those boys will be added to this cute family, yay twins!!

One little boy here with all these girls.

And a sweet little boy who will make these two parents, we are so excited!!

I am so grateful for this big crazy family of mine!!

Thanksgiving/Grandismas 2015

Sunday, November 29, 2015

We spent Thanksgiving week in St. George again this year, this is turning into our yearly tradition, and I think my Mom and I are getting this dinner down.  I was still a little tired and sore from having surgery so I was grateful to my Mom for doing most of it and dealing with me taking a lot of breaks and watching.

Dinner was so good, the weather was beautiful, and the company was great.

Friday started our Grandismas traditions. The kids made ornaments for Grandma's tree, played lots of games, we ate pizza for dinner and had fondue for dessert, Grandpa read the Polar Express, and the kids got to open jammies.

Saturday morning we woke up to a yummy breakfast and opened presents before heading off for family pictures (which will have to be its own post).

It was a crazy busy weekend full of love, laughter, and fun. We couldn't have asked for anything better.
