Rob found a website a few weeks ago called Trails 360 and we have had so much fun finding and planning new hikes (plus we loved that our kids have hiked some of the strenuous ones with us). The Grotto was one I had heard about and wanted to try so we decided to go one night for Family Home Evening.
It was a short hike but the kids loved it, their favorite part was the bridges that went back and forth over the stream. We would love to go back this summer when it is hot so they can play in the water.
When we were done hiking we stopped at a picnic area at the mouth of the canyon where we made tin foil dinners and dessert cones. We also worked on making our summer goals.
I have to say Summer Family Home Evenings are some of my favorite!!
