Rob had been researching the solar eclipse and talking about going somewhere to see it, so yesterday afternoon we packed up the car and drove to Beaver to catch a glimpse. We thought about going all the way to Cedar City but we didn't have time.
We found a great spot to set up the tripod and camera and used a piece of welding glass as a filter. The kids loved seeing it and taking turns with the glass. Samantha could wait to get to school and tell her class all about it so I made her a collage of all the pictures we took.
It was so much fun and pretty awesome!! I am so glad Rob convinced us to go down and check it out.
