The Festival Of Lights

Tuesday, December 20, 2011

A couple Friday nights ago Hannah and I made ginger snaps, we bought hot chocolate at 7-eleven, and once we had our goodies we drove to Spanish Fork for the Festival of Lights.
(and for the rest of the weekend I had this song stuck in my head)

Kind of appropriate since Hanukkah starts tonight.
And Happy Hanukkah to all my Jewish friends, enjoy your celebration of the Festival of Lights!!

The Festival of Lights in Spanish Fork, it is set up in the park and you drive around the loop looking at all of the different displays.  It was cold but we still had our windows down for the best view.  There were so many different light displays and most of them had changing scenes.
(like the penguin below who was catching the fish and it changed as he pulled it up from the water)

The Festival of Lights goes from Thanksgiving until New Year's Day and only costs $5.00 to drive through so if you are in the area check it out.  Normal trips in the car are no fun for us, but we all loved driving through to see the lights and it will be another thing we try to do every Christmas.
